2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition Race Car Features and Release Date
Ford has a long history of racing success and iconic race cars, and one of their most memorable race cars is the GT40 Mark IV that was driven to victory by the all-American team of Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt at Le Mans in 1967. Ford is paying tribute to the winning GT40 Mark IV with the release of a new limited-edition model: the 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition.
Exterior Design of 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition
The exterior of the 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition features a gloss-finish Race Red exterior with white stripes and exposed carbon package. On the hood and doors of the race car is a Frozen White No. 1 graphic. Additional exterior highlights include 20-inch one-piece forged aluminum wheels in silver satin clearcoat with black lug nuts, red calipers, silver rearview mirror caps and a unique serialized identification plate.
Interior Design of 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition
Inside the 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition, the cabin features leather trimming for the carbon fiber seats, with red accent stitching, which carries over to the steering wheel. Satin dark stainless appliqués are used on the instrument panel, door register bezels and x-brace. Also, the cabin sports an exposed matte carbon center console, fiber door sills and air register pods.
What is the release date of the 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition?
