October 2017 WE Scare Hunger Halloween Food Drive Calgary AB
Hunger is a major program for a significant segment of the population in Canada. According to Food Banks Canada, 13% of Canadians live in a state of food insecurity, which means they don’t have access to adequate amounts of safe, good-quality and nutritious food. December is a great time to get into the Christmas spirit by generously donating canned goods to the Mayor’s Annual Food Drive, which is going on its 28th year of collaborating with other members of the community for a hunger-free Christmas in Calgary.
