A new model years means many new 2018 Ford F-150 updates and new features. Ford has refined and revised the truck to continue to keep it at the top of its class.

2018 Ford F-150 New Design

Ford has updated the exterior design of the F-150 for the new model year. All trim levels will now come equipped with new grilles, headlamps and bumpers. The F-150 will also offer six all-new wheel designs.

Several systems and features have been updated for the 2018 model years. These include:

  • Updated adaptive cruise control system
  • New pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection system
  • 4G LTE WiFi hotspot connectivity
  • New B&O PLAY audio system

New F-150 Engine Options

The 2018 Ford F-150’s lineup of engines has been updated as well. The truck will now offer an all-new 3.3-liter V-6 engine and a new 3.0-liter Power Stroke diesel engine. This is the first time the F-150 will offer a diesel engine. These new offerings will join the F-150’s impressive existing engine lineup. Helping supplement the performance of these engine’s will be Ford’s new 10-speed automatic transmission.
