Ford is Doing a Unique Ideas Exchange with a Cancer Centre

In a unique collaboration, Ford is doing an ideas exchange with the Centre for Integrated Oncology (CIO) at the University Hospital of Cologne, which is one of the top cancer centres in Germany. The centre is studying the systems that ensure Ford plants run smoothly and applying them to the hospital, while Ford is studying the “outside the box” thinking that the centre uses for treating cancer and applying it to the development of new vehicles and automotive technologies.
