What’s New
The 2022 Ford Edge now has all-wheel-drive on all trims. This mid-size two-row SUV can now be bought in a sporty package that includes 48.26-cm wheels and exterior accents to the outer body. You’ll also be able to buy the SEL Edge trim in an Adventure package that incorporates simulated leather upholstery, all-terrain tires, 45.72-cm tires, with black and grey exterior visual enhancements to the SUV.
Interior
The front seats are extremely comfortable. The reclining rear seat adds extra comfort for passengers, and the climate control system works perfectly. There’s ample room with the primary controls set out logically on the driver’s side. You’ll be able to set your driver’s seat and wheel perfectly to your personal preference.
You wouldn’t believe that the 2022 Ford Edge has only two rows of seats with all the cargo space available in the cabin. There’s a whopping 39.2-cubic foot of space behind the second row. Plus, you get added space when you fold the rear seats 60/40. More creature comforts include dual-zone climate control and a six-speaker sound system.
You’ll get faux-leather seats, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a nine-speaker sound system, and Ford’s SecuriCode entry keypad when you upgrade to the SEL trim.
Technology and Safety
The entry-level SE trim comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360. This system includes automatic high beams, a forward-collision warning system, a lane-keeping system, and a blind spot cross-traffic monitor system.
Other tech includes Apple’s CarPlay and Android Auto, a massive 30.48-cm infotainment touchscreen, keyless entry, and push-button start technology.
The SEL trim has an additional Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist Plus Package that can be bought as an additional extra. This package includes adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist. Evasive steering assist enhances the forward-collision warning system by avoiding collisions. The SEL trim can also be bought with a navigation system. You can also get the Convenience Package and the Adventure Package on the SEL trim.
Performance
The all-wheel-drive 2.0-litre engine will get you an estimated fuel economy of 33.79km/L in the city and 45.06km/L on the highway. You can expect to get approximately 30km/L combined.

The 2022 Ford Edge is available in five trims: The SE, the SEL, the ST-Line, the Titanium, and the ST. Pricing ranges from $37,779 for the SE and $50,885 for the ST.
