2022 Bronco vs. 2022 Bronco Sport

Ford won't be changing the Bronco Sport lineup for the 2022 model. It is one of the most costly models on the market, but it is also one of the most capable models when it comes to off-roading. The 2022 Bronco model line expands with the introduction of the Everglades model, a version of an all-terrain package known as Sasquatch.

Here are some basic comparisons between the 2022 Bronco and the 2022 Bronco Sport based on their distinctive features.

There are many popular features inside the Bronco Sport and a stylish exterior design. Additionally, the little ute comes with impressive interior space and many interesting features. Its rear-seat legroom is reasonable, and it has an upright seating position.

The mid-sized SUV Bronco offers the same open-air options that make the Wrangler an outdoor enthusiast's dream car, including two or four doors, soft tops or hardtops, and removable body panels. One of the four-door model highlights is its middle seat, which offers a little more space.

Performance

Performance

In the Bronco, there is no eight-cylinder engine. The standard engine is a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a twin-turbocharged 2.7-litre V-6 engine that can produce 330 horsepower. Both gas engines can be combined with an automatic transmission, but only the smaller one can be paired with a seven-speed manual.

Every Bronco Sport model is equipped with all-wheel drive, and it uses the same platform as Ford's SUVs Escape crossover. The base engine is a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder with 181 horsepower, though a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 245 horsepower is also available.

Fuel Economy

Fuel Economy

In terms of fuel efficiency, the three-cylinder Bronco Sport achieves 10.6 km/L in the city and11.9 km/L on the highway. If you choose the four-cylinder version, then those numbers drop to 8.9 km/L in cities and 11.05 km/L on the highway.

With 8.5 km/Lon on the highway and 8.4 km/L in the city, the four-cylinder Bronco with the automatic transmission is the most fuel-efficient. Its fuel economy plummets to 7.2 km/L both in the city and on the highway if you upgrade to the V-6 version with the Sasquatch package.

In addition to forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking, the Bronco Sport has a host of driver-assist technologies.
